"Much to the surprise of its opponents, used to face only light armour, the Horde has recently started fielding remarkable, although somehow outdated heavy tanks. There are many hypotheses about where the Khan Baar (“King Tiger”) comes from, the most popular asserting that the Horde is secretly equipped by Salviatia, a claim which Salviatische Werhmacht officials rigorously deny."

Overall strategy[]

Clearly inspired if not stolen outright from Salviatian heavy tank designs, the Khan Baar is one of the unlikeliest of all units to be found amongst the ranks of the Horde. In comparison to other tanks, it is somewhat lacking — it has poor hitpoints, armour, and speed ....... but somewhat makes up for this with its immensely powerful main gun and viewfinders which make it superior over what the Federation and Vidalia have to offer. Additionally, it can also be pressed much faster into action compared to other tanks but is still not as cost-effective as the LV-43 which if built in superior numbers can easily overwhelm the Khan Baar.

The best use of the Khan Baar thus is to use it as infantry support, leaving the mainline fighting to the Horde's faster and more mobile forces. Supported by mobile and hard-hitting raiding forces, the Khan Baar could possibly hold its own but don't expect it to hold out against more up-to-date weapon platforms or dedicated anti-materiel units, such as Stinger Mujahideen or Fénix squads.
